As a matter of fact I've written a few Renderman shaders. Mostly simple stuff
using the ubiquitous "noise function". However I just got a book called
Texturing and Modeling, a Proceedural Approach" (Ebert, Musgrave,
Peachey-(pixar), Perlin and Worley. AP Professional 1994) and want to try some
of the techniques in the book.
